An Empirical Analysis and Designing of Data Mining Clustering Algorithm
Journal Title: International Journal for Research in Applied Science and Engineering Technology (IJRASET) - Year 2015, Vol 3, Issue 6
Abstract
Data mining is the technique of running the data through the algorithms for discovering the meaningful correlations and patterns among the data that would remain hidden otherwise. The overall goal of the data mining process is to extract information from a data set and transform it into an understandable structure for further use. Cluster analysis or clustering is the task of grouping a set of objects in such a way that objects in the same group (called a cluster) are more similar (in some sense or another) to each other than to those in other groups (clusters).
