Abstract
Salix caprea.L. (Salicaceae), commonly called Bede-mushk, is a shrub growing in Iran, Kashmir, north-western Himalayas and Punjab. The plant has been used in traditional system of medicine as antioxidant, antifungal, antimicrobial, anti-inflammatory, hemolysis and nephroprotective drug.
