An Exploratory Survey of Emerging Cybercrime Attacks and Counter-Detection Approaches.

Abstract

Cybercrime is the illegal activities committed through the use of computers and the internet. The evolution of the internet and its diversity in the world are the sources of cybercrimes. Now that information can be utilized for educational, commercial, personal usefulness. Therefore a robust and ideal methodology need to produce for tracing and detecting terror based activities over the internet. Several approaches have been proposed and developed for the detection and prevention of cybercrimes over the years. This paper provides an up-to-date review of models, parameters, architecture and frameworks used in detecting and preventing cybercrimes.
