An Investigation of the Relationship Between the Work Performance and Their Burnout Levels of the Professional Staff Working at the Private Disabled Care Center

Abstract
The aim of this research is to reveal the relationship between the job performance of the professionals working in the private disabled care centers and their burnout levels. In this direction, the prepared interview form, Job Performance Scale and Maslach Burnout Scale were applied to 204 professional staff working in private disabled care centers in Turkey. The sample of the study was determined by using the purposeful sampling technique, which is one of the non-random sampling models. As a result of the analyzes, it was seen that the job performance levels of the professionals participating in the research tended to increase, but on the contrary, the burnout levels tended to increase in the opposite direction. A correlation analysis was conducted regarding the significant relationship between the job performance of the professionals working in the private disabled care center and the average burnout level. When the analysis results are examined; It has been concluded that there is a negative and significant relationship between the Job Performance measurement data and the Burnout Level measurement data
