An Overview on Template Matching Methodologies and its Applications
Journal Title: International Journal of Research in Computer and Communication Technology - Year 2013, Vol 2, Issue 10
Abstract
A very common task in pattern recognition is template matching. The detection and recognition of objects in images is a key research topic in the computer vision community. Within this area, image recognition and interpretation has attracted increasing attention owing to the possibility of unveiling human perception mechanisms, and for the development of practical biometric systems. Various template matching methodology like NTM, ICM, PCM, GBM, EBM are explored.Template matchingis applied in versatile field such as signal processing, image processing, pattern recognition, and video compression. This paper provides the descriptive overview of applications and methodologies were template matching techniques are explored.

Embedding of Data in Motion Vectors by Using Steganography Concept
This paper applies steganography algorithm in videos. In the proposed method, we take GOP techniques which are nothing but video algorithms so we use advantage of prediction types of MPEG bit streams to embed waterma...
Bankruptcy Prediction of Financially Distressed Companies using Independent Component Analysis and Fuzzy Support Vector Machines
The aim of research is to model the dependency of enterprises on their financial ratios for predicting bankruptcy using artificial neural networks combined with fuzzy logic. A sample of companies which are financially...
Performance Evaluation of different Routing Algorithm in Wireless Ad hoc Networks
A mobile ad hoc network consists of wireless hosts and the movement of hosts results in a change in routes. There are many routing protocols proposed by different researchers but to determine which one work efficient...
New architecture and efficient inter device communication for content transferring in human networks
We present B-SUB, an interest-driven information sharing system for HUNETs, which stands for the bloom-filter-based publish/SUBscribe. B-SUB is calculated for small to medium sized networks selfpossessed of dozens of...
Analyzing Feedback Patterns Using Data Mining Techinque
This paper presents a data mining technique that can be used to study which courses a student will more likely be interested in, during his graduation. The raw data was collected from feedback forms of an institution...
