Abstract
The current state of health and health saving problems of students are analyzed in the article. It is proved that at present there is a lack of implementation of the urgent tasks of healthcare in full. Especially this problem concerns healthcare of future specialists, who spend most of their time in classrooms while studying, living mainly in the hostel, being away from the care of parents, are forced to worry about their own health themselves, but are not really ready for this and are not oriented properly. In our opinion, the low level of awareness among young people of the need to take care of their health is due to irresponsible attitude towards their own health (malnutrition, poor quality treatment, neglecting health during holidays, and sports activities). On the basis of analysis of statistical data, it is concluded that there is now a general tendency to reduce the level of health and physical capacity of the younger generation, an increase in emotional imbalance. An attempt has been made to prove the need to innovate the healthcare system in higher educational institutions of Ukraine.
