Analiza przebiegu III linii metra warszawskiego w świetle dotychczasowych koncepcji i przyszłych potrzeb

Abstract
Concept of the 3rd line of metro Warsaw, which is subject of the article, has nature of the initial analysis. Firstly, current underground network in Warsaw, which is currently developed (2nd line – West and East section), in comparison to other European metropolises (under 2 million habitants) – for example Prague, Vienna or Buda-pest, seems to be too little developed. Prague has 3 underground lines (total length 65,2 km, 61 stations), in Vienna 5 lines (length 83,2 km, 109 stations), Budapest 4 lines (length 38,3 km, 52 sta-tions). In Warsaw length is equal 28,2 km and 28 stations. What is more concept of 1st line of Warsaw metro has been created in 70’s and included that social and economical necessities.
