Analysis of Banking Profitability on the Indonesia Stock Exchange

Abstract
Profitability was the ratio that measures the ability of a company to generate and develop the profit in a certain period. The changes of profitability generally influenced by some factors, which: capitals, asset quality, rentability, and liquidity. The purpose of this study is to determine the capitals, asset qualities, rentability, and likuidity can influence the profitabilities of conventional banks that listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange. The population in this study were the conventional banks that listed on Indonesian Stock Exchange, the samples were taken by purposive sampling method, the criteria of samples are conventional banks which listed for three times consecutive from 2017 - 2019. It obtains with a 40’s conventional banks for the sample. Data that used in this study including secondary data and quantitative, which sourced from conventional banks annual report from 2017-2019 in Indonesian Stock Exchange website. The instrument trials were analyzed by multiple linier regression. The result of this study showed that capitals and rentability significant influence on profitability, while asset quality and likuidity did not significantly influence on profitability.
