Analysis of computer mathematics systems applicatility for solving the optimization problems

Abstract

Mathematical optimization is the process of solving a mathematical problem of finding the maximum or minimum of an objective function with constraints on the values and type of search of unknowns. The optimization task is not reproduced by all, only some characteristic properties of the real object of investigation, the researcher is most interested in, therefore, it is the basis for the approximation or definite replacement of this object by its optimization model, the further realization of which is carried out by appropriate optimization methods and computational means. The complexity of the research object determines the level of complexity of the process of optimization modeling from setting the appropriate optimization task to the formulation and implementation of its mathematical model and analysis of the results obtained, as a rule, this requires powerful computing tools i.e. computers with appropriate software.
