ANALYSIS OF CONTACT STRESS AND BENDING STRESS OCCURING IN TOOTHS OF GEAR TRANSMISSION POWER SHIFTS
Journal Title: Tribologia - Year 2011, Vol 237, Issue 3
Abstract
The study summarises the problems associated with contact stress and bending stress highlighted in the course of numerical tests of a power shift incorporating fourteen wheels, making up ten toothed pairs. The study investigates the influence of the addendum modification coefficient and of the module on the value of contact stress and bending stresses.

EFFECT OF HOLE-FORMING TECHNOLOGY ON THE DESTRUCTION OF MATERIAL DD11 USED TO MANUFACTURE WHEEL DISCS
This study presents the results of comparative tests concerning the destruction process of specimens made of material DD11, for which different hole-forming technologies (i.e. drilling and piercing) were applied. For the...
THE EFFECT OF PRESSURE – ROLLING OF WELDED TURNOUTS AND RAILROADS ON THEIR WEAR RESISTANCE
The article presents the effect of cold-rolling welded joints in railway lines on their mechanical and tribological properties. Welded joints of high-manganese Hadfield cast steel (L120G13) and normalized rail steel (R35...
IDENTIFICATION OF TRIBOLOGICAL PARAMETERS CHARACTERIZING COOPERATION ROTARY SEAL WITH THE SURFACE OF THE SHAFT
This article presents a proposal for a description of tribological phenomena occurring during the cooperation of a rotary seal on the surface of a shaft, which has not been well recognized. The method of dimensional anal...
ASSESSING THE PROPERTIES OF SINGLE AND MULTI-LAYER DLC COATINGS
The paper deals with the testing of single-layer DLC coatings (a:C:H:W, TiN/a:C:H:W, and CrN/a:C:H:W). The coatings were deposited on Co-Cr-Mo (BIODUR CCM Plus alloy) specimens using the PVD and PACVD processes. The topo...
