IDENTIFICATION OF TRIBOLOGICAL PARAMETERS CHARACTERIZING COOPERATION ROTARY SEAL WITH THE SURFACE OF THE SHAFT

Abstract
This article presents a proposal for a description of tribological phenomena occurring during the cooperation of a rotary seal on the surface of a shaft, which has not been well recognized. The method of dimensional analysis was used, highlighting the four criteria of model similarity. The moment of resistance movement occurring in the considered tribological node is dependent on these criteria. By using the results of tests of technical standard implementation of rotary seal, a method of determining the exponents occurring as the result of the criteria equation are presented. The preliminary results of the identification of parameters characterizing the dependence between the friction torque and characteristics of material construction tribological pairs are also presented.
