Analysis of Dynamic Response of the Human Body as a System With Several Degrees of Freedom From External Harmonic Perturbations
Journal Title: Romanian Journal of Acoustics and Vibration - Year 2013, Vol 10, Issue 2
Abstract
The modal analysis enables the evaluation of a certain structure`s behaviour based on the identification of the resonances or of the feed-back modes. It can be a method through which the modal parameters of the human structure (frequency, amortization, modal shape) can be identified for our own area of interest.

Mathematical Formulation of Friction Pendulum System With Multiple Sliding Interfaces
The use of base isolation in developed countries has been recognized as a very effective method for upgrading the seismic resistance of the structures. The reduction in earthquake forces on a structure is achieved by add...
The Application of Electrical Strain Gages at a Sgns Type Wagon
The Sgns type wagons are flat cars which are used for carrying 20’, 30’ and 40’ containers. It is one of the longest freight wagons (the length of the chassis is 18500 mm). According to the loading limits, the wagon allo...
The Vibrations Influence upon Strain and Stress States of Long Linear Elastic Bar Type Links of Mechanisms
For long linear elastic links of mechanisms subjected to vibration, the determination of displacements fields depending on the motion kinematic parameters makes possible the calculus of additional strains tensor componen...
On the Assessment of the Vertical Vibration Behaviour of a Railway Vehicle
The paper deals with the assessment of the vertical vibration behaviour of a railway vehicle due to the random irregularities of the track. This issue is important to predict the running behaviour of the vehicle. Also, i...
Acoustical investigation of aquatic fittings
Water is an indispensable element for the life. This contributes to the appearance and development of many phenomena, some of them accompanied by acoustical exhibitions. These ones are received by the human being through...
