ANALYSIS OF FINANCIAL STATE OF PJSC PRIVATBANK

Abstract
The article analyzes the main indicators of the financial state of PJSC PrivatBank according to the financial statements for 2015–2016. The assets of the balance sheet, the bank’s credit policy, the structure of the loan portfolio, the capital formation policy, the structure of the bank’s liabilities, profitability indicators and margins, dynamics and structure of interest income and expenses were analyzed. The article identified the main factors that influenced significant changes in the balance sheet asset items: nationalization, im-pairment of the vast majority of loans to legal entities, and the corresponding formation of reserves, the appearance of the value of the acquired collateral in assets. The authors provided the following recommendations for the implementation of credit policy: compliance with the parameters of the loan, diversification of loan portfolios, control over the return of bad debts. The peculiarities of forming a bank’s capital include: ownership of state property, the possibility of timely and full support of capital and liquidity by the owner. The authors noted such features of the dynamics and structure of the bank’s obligations as: attracting resources from individu-als, the need to intensify work with legal entities, reducing dependence on borrowed resources of the National Bank of Ukraine and other institutions.
