ANALYSIS OF KEY ECONOMIC AND INNOVATION INDICATORS OF CHINA AND UKRAINE FOR 1992–2017 YEARS DYNAMICS

Abstract
The article briefly describes the main points of the transformation of China’s scientific and technological system and its transition to a developed innovative economy. Also a comparative analysis of the dynamics of the main economic and innovation indicators of such countries as Ukraine and China from 1992 and 1980 to 2017, respectively, was conducted. For comparative analysis, a number of key economic indicators were selected and the ranking of Ukraine and China in the world for a variety of innovation indicators, the main of which is the Global Innovation Index (GII), was analyzed. A comparative analysis of the dynamics of the above-mentioned indicators was carried out not only in quantitative but also in graphical terms, which greatly simplifies its visual perception and enables not only to track the trends of the selected indicators, but also the parallel development of the economies of the two countries with the subsequent possibility of forecasting with a minimal error due to the use of a large array of data.
