ANALYSIS OF RAILWAY WHEEL LOADS
Journal Title: Scientific Journals of Silesian University of Technology. Series Transport - Year 2013, Vol 2013, Issue 81
Abstract
Analysis of impact of design and service parameters of 152Aa passenger carriage on forces acting upon wheels is presented in this paper (different runs over different track sections were simulated). Carriage model was created for UNIVERSAL MECHANISM software and is described. The calculated railway wheel force values are given. Basing on these data, dynamic coefficient used for stress analysis in FEM programs was evaluated.

COMPARISON OF PNEUMATIC FLEXIBLE SHAFT COUPLING STATIC LOAD CHARACTERISTICS OBTAINED EXPERIMENTALLY AND BY CALCULATION
Pneumatic flexible shaft couplings allow the change of their stiffness by the pressure change of gaseous medium in their pneumatic flexible elements, allowing their use as a device for continuous tuning of torsional osci...
TORSIONAL NATURAL FREQUENCY TUNING BY MEANS OF PNEUMATIC FLEXIBLE SHAFT COUPLINGS
This article deals with the use of pneumatic flexible shaft couplings as device for tuning torsional natural frequencies of mechanical systems. These couplings are using air bellows as flexible elements. Their torsional...
CHANGE TRENDS IN THE USE OF PASSENGER CARS ON URBAN TRIPS: CAR-POOLING IN GDYNIA
The wide accessibility of European citizens to cars results in problems caused by their excessive use as a means of urban transport. Given this situation, it is necessary to find new solutions for the more efficient use...
DERIVED EQUATIONS FOR DAMAGE ACCUMULATION IN GEARED WHEELS BASED ON MODIFIED LAWS OF CRACK PROPAGATION
Versatile hypotheses of fatigue damage accumulation are utilized in order to determine the fatigue life of particular mechanical elements. Such an approach to an analysis of fatigue processes is recognized as being pheno...
