ANALYSIS OF THE FAILURE-FREE OPERATION OF THE PASSIVE REDUNDANT SUBSYSTEMS OF THE AIRCRAFT WITH DUE CONSIDERATION OF THE TOLERANCES
Journal Title: Journal of Mechanical Engineering Research & Developments (JMERD) - Year 2018, Vol 41, Issue 4
Abstract
The goal of this paper is to examine the failure-free operation of the passive redundant subsystems of the aircraft with due consideration of the tolerances for decrease of their output parameters in the cases of failures of the components. The following factors were investigated: influence of values of the failure-free operation of the components, as well as influence of tolerances and multipleness of redundancy upon the failure-free operation of the passive redundant subsystems as a whole. It was demonstrated that in the cases where relative tolerances do not exceed 25%, increase of the multipleness of redundancy ensures essential growth of the failure-free operation of the subsystems within the postcritical areas of probabilities of the components.

TRACKING MAXIMUM POWER POINT FOR PHOTOVOLTAIC SYSTEM USING A NOVEL DIFFERENTIAL PARTICLE SWARM OPTIMIZATION
In this paper, a new differential particle swarm optimization (DPSO) method is investigated for tracking the maximum power point (MPP) for the photovoltaic (PV) system in order to enhance the operating efficiency of the...
HIGH PERFORMANCE WATER TREATMENT TECHNOLOGY FOR THE RESERVOIR PRESSURE MAINTENANCE AT OIL FIELDS
This article considers the problem of deterioration of permeability of reservoirs in the bottom-hole zone, as well as the problem of decrease of water intake capacity of water injection wells due to colmatation of pores...
A STUDY OF PHASE TRANSFORMATION IN SHAPE MEMORY ALLOY CuAl9Fe4
Microstructure and phase transformation in shape memory alloy Cu-Al (Fe addition: 9% Al, 4 % Fe) were investigated in this study. It is a material capable of restoring its original shape when impacted by a reasonable tem...
TESTING AND ANALYSING THE GRINDING UNIFORMITY OF POLYMER PRODUCTS
This work aims to improve the uniformity of the grinding polymer materials (recycling of thermoplastic polymers) and reduce the power consumption of the grinding process for the polymer recycling process. The uniformity...
INFLUENCE OF VIBRATIONS DURING DIRECTIONAL SOLIDIFICATION ON MICROSTRUCTURE, HARDNESS AND STRENGTH OF Al-Si-GRAPHITE FG COMPOSITE
The present work aims to synthesize functionally Graded (FG) composites through directional solidification (DS) in combination with lateral vibrations. Directional solidification is one of the effective processing techni...
