Analysis of the floods parameters from the rivers in the Gilort hydrographic basin
Journal Title: Geographia Napocensis - Year 2011, Vol 0, Issue 2
Abstract
This paper aims to characterise the most important parameters of the flood waves for the studied drainage area, presenting aspects related to increase and total duration, to peak runoff, to the total volume of the flood, to the shape coefficient of the hydrograph and some aspects related to the depth of the flood runoff. These parameters showed higher values starting with 1989-1990. The period of this study covered 26 years (1982-2007).
