Analysis of the influence of various factors on the students’ success at the university

Abstract
The problem of the success of university students is examined in this article. The analysis of the factors which influence on success is given. A variety of factors can be divided into three groups: the first – the factors of academic achievements and student abilities, the second – circumstances factors and the third one is a group of personal factors. The analysis showed the importance of the influence of these groups on the study result, and the university’s strategy should contain a stage of researching the individual needs and personal factors of the students in order to help them in achieving success. Taking into account the influence of a group of personal factors, developing the necessary skills are extremely important for students. Attention to the individual academic needs of students and positive thinking, the creation of such learning conditions that would enable students to stay at the university and achieve the result despite the difficulties and obstacles – is a key task of higher education institutions.
