Analysis of the modern situation on enterprises of hotel and restaurant economy: features and problems

Abstract
Introduction. Under modern conditions of business operating, an analysis of environment of an enterprise, features of development of the socio-economic system and of the economic country complex is getting more and more important. This is an initial phase in the formation of strategy and mechanisms of activity of the enterprise, including real actual problems and perspective directions of development of the industries, regions and country in the whole. A hotel-restaurant economy is the important constituent of pertaining to national economy complex, sphere of hospitality and one of staples of market of the tourist services. Tourist demand stimulates economic activity of the enterprises of hospitality industry and influences on the socio-economic development of the country regions. Purpose. The aim of present work is an analysis and estimation of modern state of the economy hotel-restaurant and of the tourism sphere, is an exposure of basic problems and progress trends of the enterprises and industries of hospitality in Ukraine and in the Dnipropetrovs’k area. Results. The dynamics of tourist streams, activity of hotel-restaurant and tourist business in Ukraine and Dnipropetrovs’k area on the modern stage are analyzed. An estimation and comparative analysis of activity indicators of tourist, hotels and restaurants enterprises is are conducted. The features of influencing of tourist activity on the sphere hotel-restaurant development in modern terms are explored. Role of the modern information technologies in the hospitality sphere and features of their influence on the improvement of efficiency and quality of services of the tourism enterprises are considered. Conclusion. It is a fact, that for the last 5 years in the field of hotel-restaurant and tourist business activity went down and there are such signs of decline: diminishing of tourist streams, collective facilities of placing, seating of placing and placed persons capacity, reduction of tourism specific gravity is in Basic Inner Product of country, decline receipts of currencies from the export of tourist and hotels services, of investments in the infrastructure of hospitality sphere, reduction of workplaces are decline.
