Analysis of the process of manufacturing clothing with a stable shape from wool non-woven material using feling technique
Journal Title: Modern Innovations, Systems and Technologies - Year 2023, Vol 3, Issue 3
Abstract
This article discusses the properties of wool fibers, the processes of their softening and the composition of substances used as an aid in this process. A comparison was made of the properties of fibers when mixed with different chemicals. The study of the process of technological preparation for the production of clothing from non-woven material based on the felting technique made it possible to classify this process as a complex object and present it as an object of a multi-parameter system. The research examined the effect of layers of wool fibers on the physical and mechanical properties of felt through the use of silk and viscose fibers. The parametric description shows that during the production process the linear dimensions of the semi-finished product and its thickness are constantly changing.
