Abstract
Deepana and pachana Karma is indicated as Purvakarma before administration of Snehapana for Shodhana in conditions such as Mamsala (Upachita Mamsa), Medura (Medasvina), Bhurishleshma, and Vishamagni because they are Sneha Satmya persons. If it is not performed then it results in Snehavyapad. In Sneha Satmya condition if Snehapana administered then there will be Anuthkleshana. Here Pachana is indicated i.e. nothing but Pachana. Pippali due to its deepana pachana yoga its high time to evaluate its analytical study.
