ANALYTICAL SUPPORT OF STRATEGIC MANAGEMENT OF MATERIAL COSTS OF THE ENTERPRISE

Abstract
The article is devoted to the consideration and further development of theoretical aspects of the strategic analysis of the formation of material costs in the enterprise. In connection with the ambiguity of approaches, the author's definition suggests such economic categories as "material costs" and "strategic cost management"; model of the process of strategic management of material costs is developed. An integral part of this process is a strategic analysis of the formation and use of material resources at the enterprise. Increasing the efficiency of material resources management by applying a strategic approach and using strategic analysis methods to make effective management decisions on the formation and use of material resources at the enterprise is theoretically grounded. This will contribute to increasing the competitiveness of products, the economic development of the enterprise and the achievement of competitive advantages in the market in the long term.
