ANATOMICAL STUDIES IN THE WORKS OF LEONARDO DA VINCI

Abstract
The article lights up activity of Leonardo da Vinci in area of anatomy of man, that it is presented in modern literature in a considerably less degree, than work of him as an artist, mathematician, connoisseur of theoretical and applied mechanics, physics. The basic known anatomic manuscripts of Leonardo da Vinci are published in a number of the specialized editions. Therefore there are all necessary pre-conditions for a further scientific analysis and estimation of his historical value in area ofanatomy.
