Anhydrous K2CO3 as Catalyst for the synthesis of Chalcones under Microwave Irradiation

Journal Title: Journal of Pharmaceutical Sciences and Research - Year 2010, Vol 2, Issue 10

Abstract

A simple method for the synthesis of chalcones is reported using Anhydrous K2CO3 under micro wave assisted solid phase, solvent free method. The structures of the synthesized compounds were performed by IR, mass spectroscopy and elemental analysis.
