ANTHROPONYM SHEVCHENKO IN THE TEXT «THE SPIRIT OF OUR PAST» OF DMYTRO DONTSOV

Abstract
Purpose: The purpose of the analysis is to consider the semantic load of the anthroponym Shevchenko in the text «The spirit of our past», to describe Dmytro Dontsov as linguistic identity, to demonstrate the world-view of the author, to reproduce the knowledge of cultural and historical past. Background: the anthroponym Shevchenko that conceptually prepares to a certain perception of reality. Methods: descriptive; contextual analysis, historical interpretation, observation. Results: the anthroponym vocabulary and in particular the proper name Shevchenko allows to analyse the scientific-publicistic text in the light of the nation- and state-building language functions. Discussion: the anthroponym Shevchenko is a cross-cutting element of the work, because Dmytro Dontsov professed the poets ideas of patriotism, the will of God, heroic past, the cult of ancestors, own land, honour, courage, strong leaders and structuring of the society.
