Appellativation mechanisms and patterns in the formation of English slang neologisms of the early twenty-first century

Abstract
The article focuses on identification and analysis of appellativation mechanisms contributing to the formation of English slang in the early 21st century. Deonymic metaphtonymization and metonymization patterns in English slang neologisms are differentiated and systematized.
