Application of Adaptive Wavelet Threshold Algorithm to Balise Signal De-noising

Abstract
In order to improve the de-noising effect of balise signal,through the multi-resolution analysis characteristics of wave let transform,an improved adaptive threshold quantization method was proposed based on the analysis of hard threshold and soft threshold function of wavelet de-noising. This method overcame the problem that the hard threshold function had discontinuous point and soft threshold function had constant deviation. The method with better continuity could adjust threshold quantitative rules automatically. The simulation results show that the improved adaptive threshold algorithm makes better performance of signal to noise ratio( SNR) gain and mean square error( MES) than conventional threshold algorithm and existing improved threshold algorithm,and makes good performance in remaining the characteristics information of balise signal.
