APPLICATION OF ARTIFICIAL BEE COLONY ALGORITHM TO AUTO-TUNING OF STATE FEEDBACK CONTROLLER FOR DC-DC POWER CONVERTER
Journal Title: Power Electronics and Drives - Year 2016, Vol 2, Issue 2
Abstract
Background: The article presents auto-tuning method of state feedback voltage controller for DC-DC power converter. Material and methods: Simulation and experimental tests prove proper operation of proposed auto-tuning method. Results: Step responses of DC-DC power converter recorded in simulation and experimental tests. Conclusions: During optimization procedure, four coefficients of penalty matrices required for calculation of SFC were properly selected. Constraints handling method that is based on Deb’s selection algorithm was added to ABC procedure to impose limits of selected signals.

SLIDING MODE SPEED CONTROL OF INDUCTION MOTOR DRIVE USING TIME-VARYING SWITCHING LINE
In this paper an equivalent sliding mode control method of an induction motor speed is discussed. In this method the control signal consists of two parts: continuous and discontinuous one. Very good dynamical response of...
Hybrid MPPT algorithm for PV systems under partially shaded conditions using a stochastic evolutionary search and a deterministic hill climbing
This paper proposes a hybrid maximum power point tracking method for the photovoltaic system using a stochastic evolutionary search and a deterministic hill climbing algorithm. The proposed approach employs the particle...
INDUSTRIAL DRIVE SYSTEMS. CURRENT STATE AND DEVELOPMENT TRENDS
The article presents the current state and development trends of electrical drives, with particular em-phasis on modern control structures and safety systems of various types of electrical machines. Special attention was...
A METHOD OF REDUCING SWITCH COUNT IN THREE-LEVEL NPC INVERTER – ANALYSIS IN STEADY STATES
The aim of the paper is to present a proof of concept for a new method of modulation which reduce switch count in three-level neutral point clamped (3L-NPC) inverter. The method is an implementation of space vector modul...
