Application of artificial intelligence in the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary nodules
Journal Title: Chinese Journal of Clinical Research - Year 2025, Vol 38, Issue 5
Abstract
In recent years, with the development and application of low dose computed tomography, the detection rate of pulmonary nodules has gradually increased, thereby increasing to the burden of diagnosis, treatment, and management of patients with pulmonary nodules. Artificial intelligence (AI) and radiomics are capable of extracting features from medical images, generating a large amount of quantitative information, and integrating it with other information, providing a reference basis for the diagnosis and treatment of pulmonary nodules. This article will review the advancements in the application of AI in the identification, differentiation of benign and malignant nodules, treatment, and management of pulmonary nodules.
