Based on the approach of the Theory of Change, the article builds a system of theoretical issues on change management in schools. The research aims to establish directional criteria on change management capacity, requirements for change management, and methods of practicing change management. The research results provide a systematic approach to change management in schools that is suitable for the requirements of current education innovation in Vietnam.
