Applying econometric methods for the analysis of the economy of Ukraine

Abstract
The article is devoted to the use of econometric methods to analyze Ukraine’s economy. It concentrates at the question of the subject of econometrics, the history of its appearing, defines the basic principles of modeling and model types and examples of existing macro- and microeconomic models used in economics to study and practice economy of Ukraine. There is an example of construction and analysis of the regression model.
