ARCHETYPE OF SCRIPTOR IN THE ART WORLD OF PETRO KRALIUK

Abstract
The article deals with the studying of the phenomenon of scriptorium in contemporary literary criticism, which is the evidence of rehabilitation of author in post-structuralism. The analysis of theoretical concepts of grammartology is grounded in the writings of J. Gelb, J. Derrida, M. Epstein etc. The main object of study is «Synopsis», a book of contemporary Ukrainian writer Petro Kraliuk consisting of six separate works. This collection offers the art studies of the events that have become central in the past of Ukraine and has a significant impact on its future. The historical background of the book focuses at the turn of two global systems – the medieval and modern times. Common cognitive sign of the works in «Synopsis» is narrative in the first person and erasing the boundaries between the image of the author and images of the characters. The article contains the comparison of the mysterious ancient aura in Kraliuk’s texts reached in particular due to the magnetic image of incunabula, the works of Lesia Ukrainka. It is proved that the scriptor stands a pass-through image in the texts of the writer. Archetype homo scribens in the art world considered as trans-subject, that is the conceptual persona in many of own masks. It is specified the basic models of archetype homo scribens, that represent different epochs, but can communicate in a figurative world. The main attention is paid to the scriptorium mission to form the cultural heritage of the country, its significant importance in the territory of interpretations and creation of myths regarding historical figures, especially in times when writing, government, and religion were syncretic whole. It was determined the peculiarities of the functioning of homo scribens in each of the works of Petro Kraliuk as well as methods of its representation. It is emphasized the identity of the author’s specific doubling of images, his attraction to binary, dialog, using inner voice and the attempt to create stereo-image in wide chronological coordinates of the text.
