Arithmetic Operations on Heptagonal Fuzzy Numbers
Journal Title: Asian Research Journal of Mathematics - Year 2017, Vol 2, Issue 5
Abstract
In this paper we have introduced Heptagonal fuzzy numbers (HpFNs) which deals with the membership function for the set of seven numbers. Arithmetic operations such as addition, subtraction, multiplication and division of two HpFNs based on cuts method, Zadeh’s extension principle method and Co-ordinate method are discussed in detail. Membership functions are obtained for each method. Suitable examples and graphical illustrations are discussed for each method.

Multi-level Multi-objective Quadratic Fractional Programming Problem with Fuzzy Parameters: A FGP Approach
The motivation behind this paper is to present multi-level multi-objective quadratic fractional programming (ML-MOQFP) problem with fuzzy parameters in the constraints. ML-MOQFP problem is an important class of non-linea...
Numerical Solutions for Solving the Modeling Differential Equations
In this paper, we will solve the Logistic and Riccati differential equations using VIM, shifted Chebyshev-spectral fourth kind methods and Hermite collocation method. Where we can from the numerical results we obtained t...
Dynamic Response of Non-Uniform Elastic Structure Resting on Exponentially Decaying Vlasov Foundation under Repeated Rolling Concentrated Loads
In this paper, the motion of a non-uniform elastic structure resting on exponentially decaying Vlasov foundation and under repeated rolling concentrated loads moving with constant velocity is analyzed. The governing equa...
Five Points Mono Hybrid Point Linear Multistep Method for Solving Nth Order Ordinary Differential Equations Using Power Series Function
In this paper, a class of five point’s mono hybrid linear multistep method for solving nth order ordinary differential equations has been developed. In the derivation, Power series approximation was used as basic functi...
Permutation Tests for Nonparametric Statistics Using R
The R-package jmuOutlier, which contains functions for performing nonparametric statistical analyses, is introduced. This R-package is quite simplistic, and is intended to accompany undergraduate textbooks on nonparametr...
