Journal Title: Journal of Special Education and Rehabilitation - Year 1997, Vol 1, Issue 1
Abstract
In this report we take into consideration the articulation of 58 deaf children at pre-school age. The lost of hearing has set in at the end of the first year of life and is 95% by Fovler. All the children are normally intellectually developed and attend groups for pre-school deaf children in the Institute for deaf, or kindergartens for children with normally developed hearing. According to the age, the children are divided in two groups, little and big. In the group with the big children is noticed an advancement in the articulation of voices, compared to the group with little children. The advancement is a result of maturing of children and the effectual rehabilitation work.
