As mÃdias digitais online no contexto da comunicação organizacional das bibliotecas

Abstract
This article consists of a literature review about the new communication technologies on the Internet and aims to present the potential of such tools in the context of the organizational communication of the libraries. The work reflects about aspects related to the importance of monitoring the Internet, about the website as a communication tool of a library, about the use of virtual technologies for services to users, focused in chat rooms, and about social networking platforms, especially blog, microblogging, social networking relationship and video sharing platforms. Although many of the available resources are free and have user friendly interface, in practice the use of tools occurs inefficiently and without regard to the possibility of interaction.
