ASPECTS CONCERNING THE IMPLEMENTATION OF A METHODOLOGY FOR DETERMINING THE COLUMNS DIAMETERS OF GUIDING A PRESE - (Part I)

Abstract
In this paper we present a methodology for determining the value of the diameters of the guide column of a press which has a construction with closed frame. For determining these values is necessary to go through several stages namely: the simplified representation of the press, the representation the forces requesting the four columns, the determination the values these forces, the determination of maximum bending moment, and finally. by obtaining a determined static system and using the Mohr-Maxwell and rule Veresceaghincan get columns diameter values.
