Aspects Regarding the Biocorrosion of the Paper Manufactured Machines
Journal Title: Analele Universitatii "Dunarea de Jos" din Galati. Fascicula IX, Metalurgie si Stiinta Materialelor - Year 2005, Vol 28, Issue 1
Abstract
This paper presents the main microorganisms causing biocorrosion, the concentration, their effects and a series of measures for their reduction. The conclusion is that the sulpho-reducing bacterius are responsible for the majority of defects that take place in the paper industry.

Electrodeposition and Characterization of Zinc-Cobalt Alloy Coatings
Electrodeposited alloys are important in industry due to their properties which are superior to those of single metal layer. Zinc-cobalt alloys were co-deposited on gold substrate. Composition of the layers was establish...
Obtaining and Characterisation of Thermoresistive Pigments
The paper describes the obtaining and chemical and physico-structural characterisation of a green thermoresistive pigment. The pigment is made of ZnO dopped with Sb, Bi, Cr, Co and Fe oxides and it is used at mosaics and...
The Use of Systems Analysis in Environmental Engineering
The depletion of energy resources has been of primary concern in the `70s and `80s. In recent years, the decline of the environment due primarily to our energy-related activities has become severe and raises serious conc...
Design and Flow Modelling of Ballast Tank In-Line Ejector
The purpose of this paper is to present the stages of designing a water in-line ejector used for ballast tanks stripping operation. The design operation was performed using NX Siemens CAD and ANSYS 15 for computer fluid...
Experimental Researches Concerning the Influence of the Oxynitrocarburizing Thermochemical Treatment over the Structure and Corrosion Resistance of C40 Steel
The aim of the paper is to present the results of the experimental researches regarding the corrosion behaviour of C40 steel, thermochemical treated by oxidant nitrocarburizing at 570 °C. The thermochemical treatment was...
