Abstract
The article proposes a concept for improving the conditions of water intake to the southern regions of Uzbekistan, in connection with the construction in the upper reaches of the Amudarya Rogun Hydroelectric Power Station and a noticeable deterioration in the current state of the operating water management systems. It is proposed to create a water management system with the construction of a reservoir on the supply section, which will improve the operating regime in the lower reaches of the Amu Darya and contribute to improving the quality of water taken. In addition, the construction of new hydroelectric power stations and the reconstruction of several pumping stations are proposed. A real way of solving the emerging problem between the countries of Central Asia, as a result of the construction and commissioning of the Rogun Hydroelectric Power Station, is proposed.
