Aspirations, Expectations, Family Support and Academic Achievement of Grade 11 Students

Abstract
This study aimed to determine the levels of aspirations, expectations, family support and academic achievements of grade 11 students of Congressman Ramon A. Arnaldo High School, Bgry. Banica, Roxas City, Capiz. Respondents of the study were 152 grade 11 students who were officially enrolled at Congressman Ramon A. Arnaldo High School, Bgry. Banica, Roxas City, Capiz, during the School Year 2018-2019. The Following are the significant findings: (1) The level of aspirations from the respondents is “very high”; (2) the level of expectations from the respondents is “very high”; (3) the level of family support from the respondents is “high”; (4) the level of academic achievement from the respondents is “very satisfactory”; (5) There is a significant relationship between the following variables: academic achievement and aspiration; academic achievement and expectation; and, aspiration and expectation. However, there is no significant relationship between the following variables: academic achievement and family support; family support and aspiration; and, family support and expectation.
