Assess the performance of commercial banks by financial ratios Applied study during the period (2005-2014

Abstract
The study aimed to evaluate the performance of three commercial banks activating in Algeria. These are the national bank of Algeria during the period 2005-2012, the bank El Baraka, Bank Trust during 2007-2014. This study took into consideration during appraisal, the analysis of the profitability ratios, liquidity, and the adequacy of capital applied to the banks concerned by the study. The performance comparison was done on the three banks during 2007-2012 because data and information are available for the three sample banks in the study. The results of the study show the decline in the performance of the BNA, the el baraka bank has shown great efficiency in the exploitation of equity to generate profits, in addition to its ability to meet the obligations in order to achieve high rates of liquidity. The Trust Bank is distinguished by its high ability to deliver deposits as well as the absorption of losses of risky assets.
