The Impact of Human Resource Management Practices on SMEs Performance: Study Based in Southwest Algeria

Abstract

This study aims at exploring the impact of human resource management practices (Human resource planning, recruitment and selection, training and development, compensation and performance appraisal) on SMEs Performance in Southwest Algeria. Based on Literature previous empirical and conceptual studies a survey questionnaire was developed to collect data, in which the questionnaire instrument was distributed and delivered to 52 managers HRM of enterprises under study. The statistical Package for Social Sciences (SPSS) was used to test the hypotheses and to analyze the data. Empirical findings revealed a positive and significant impact of human resource management practices on SMEs Performance in Southwest Algeria.
