ASSESSMENT OF READINESS FOR CROSS-CULTURAL INTERACTION OF AN INDIVIDUAL

Abstract
The article is devoted to systematization and analysis of methods of assessment readiness for cross-cultural interaction of an individual on the basis of assessment ethnic identity in the context of cross-cultural management. It is proved that the manifestation of readiness for cross-cultural interaction is positive ethnic identity. Positive ethnic identity is also the basis of tolerance. Three groups of methods of assessment readiness for cross-cultural interaction have been identified: methods of assessment ethnic identity, methods of assessment tolerance as manifestation of ethnic identity and integrated methods of assessment tolerance and ethnic identity. The most universal methods of assessment readiness for cross-cultural interaction of an individual are integrated methods of assessment, since they determine the characteristics of ethnic identity of corresponding cultural group on the basis of universal cultural variables.
