Journal Title: Journal of Science and today’s world - Year 2015, Vol 4, Issue 9

Abstract

Decision making is an important process and choosing appropriate strategy is a difficult task as multiple aspects and criteria should be simultaneously considered in choosing strategies. In other words, identification of all possible designs is not possible during designing and formation of a strategy. Therefore, designing strategies is done based on completely general information regarding a set of options. When more specific options are discovered in a study, more accurate information become available that may create doubt regarding the initial selections in the strategy. Therefore, the best options should be identified and selected using appropriate methods. The present study explores the criteria impacting the performance of Post Bank of Iran. These criteria are explored by the customers, employees and management of the bank and each of these have distinctive indicator. The questionnaire is consisted of 47 questions and the information and standard deviations of each one is obtained. There are 5 indicators and 54 criteria. After ranking these criteria, they are analyzed and ultimately the performance of each branch is explored. Information technology and especially internet has changed the competitive environment of banking industry. Considering the extensive changes of the global markets and the increasing fierce competition, the experience of interaction with customer at global level and in an online form becomes a distinguishing strategy. In fact, electronic banking, compared with traditional banking, is a way towards reduction of costs and remaining in the competition (Vanigo, 2010).
