ASSESSMENT OF THE RECHARGE VALUE OF SHALLOW AQUIFER IN OSOWNICA CATCHMENT (LIWIEC BASIN) BASED ON MODELLING RESEARCH RESULTS

Abstract
The article presents the results of groundwater flow modelling, which the main aim was an assessment of infiltration recharge value of shallow aquifer. The task was realized through recognition of hydrogeological system on the basis of own groundwater and surface water level monitoring, conducted in the years 2007–2011. Recharge values calculated on hydrodynamic model, against index method of recharge estimation, are reliable element of water balance for steady-state filtration (average year state). Mean value of recharge in the study area is 96 mm/year. Spatial arrangement of recharge values refers to two geological and geomorphologic units.
