Assessment the Personality Characteristics of Entrepreneurs Starting up Knowledge Based Firms in Science and Technology Parks

Abstract
Considering the changes in today’s world, future belongs to the firms that welcome and support personnel having entrepreneurial behaviors. So in this paper, we tried to study and assess the personality characteristics of 53 entrepreneurs starting up knowledge based firms (KBF) located in Incubators section of Iran Science and Technology Park- Isfahan. It is a descriptive and applied type research. A standardized questionnaire was used in this research after testing its validity and reliability. Results from data analysis showed that the majority (76.5%) of respondents have the personality characteristics of successful entrepreneurs.
