Journal Title: Scientific Journal of the Military University of Land Forces - Year 2009, Vol 154, Issue 4
Abstract
In the article “Assignment, Tasks and Organizational Structures of Signal Sub-units within Command Battalion at Formation Level” the author presents the organizational structures of signal sub-units. He also describes their assignment and tasks.Long-lasting studies on the organizational structures of signal sub-units result in gradual implementation of the state-of-the-art digital communication, IT and command support equipment in command battalions.Changes in organizational structures stem from the need to facilitate the work of command and signal sub-units, which results in better functioning of command posts and, in consequence, of the whole tactical control command system. The article also describes the currently functioning kinds and types of divisional command posts which, following this year’s regulations, have been operating in the Land Forces of the Polish Armed Forces since 2009.
