Asymptomatic Hyperamylasemia in the Onset of Inflammatory Bowel Diseases in Children: A Case Report

Abstract
The article analyzed the literature data on the epidemiology, etiology, mechanisms of pancreatic lesions in inflammatory bowel diseases in children. Range of pathological conditions of the pancreas in patients with inflammatory bowel diseases was considered. The algorithm for the differential diagnosis of asymptomatic increase of pancreatic enzymes in children was presented. A detailed analysis of clinical and anamnestic, laboratory and instrumental data has been performed, the diagnostic search algorithm in a boy with asymptomatic hyperamylasemia and ulcerative colitis was demonstrated.
