ATTEMPT TO APPLY THERMAL VISION IN FATIGUE TESTS OF MILITARY BRIDGE STEEL GIRDERS

Abstract
The paper presents the results of research pertaining to a potential application in certain measurement situations of a thermal vision camera to assess the current technical condition of major military bridge structural components. The research was conducted on a low-level bridge steel girder that was subject to fatigue tests in respect of cycle loads in the laboratory of the Institute of Building Engineering of Wroclaw University of Technology in the years 2006 and 2007.
