Attempted Suicide with Enalapril: A Rare Case of Poisoning

Abstract
Enalapril is an angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitor. It is used in the treatment of hypertension and ischemic heart disease. Self poisoning with enalapril is very rare. We describe a case of attempted suicide by consumption of enalapril tablets. Patient recovered without any sequel. Keywords: Aldosterone, Angiotensin converting enzyme inhibitors, Enalapril.
