Aurel Onciul – Repères de l’activité politique des premières années du XX-ème siècle

Abstract
În prima decadă a sec. XX, tumultuoasa viaţă politică din Bucovina a fost marcată de apariţia lui Aurel Onciul pe scena politică a Ducatului. Acesta a contribuit la divizarea şi fracţionarea P.N.R., intrând în conflict cu liderul naţionalist Iancu Flondor, pe care l-a învinuit în anul 1903 de antisemitism, provocând un veritabil scandal în Parlamentul provincial. Totuşi, între cei doi politicieni a existat o scurtă perioadă de împăcare între anii 1908-1910, când Partidul Românesc din Bucovina s-a aflat sub influenţa curentului creştin-social vienez.
